Top ten animated - kids movies

Animated - kids movies have always managed to amaze us even with limited resources ,It can sometimes be difficult to predict whether you are happy with a child viewing the content of certain movies.we feel you would want know about before commiting your time and money to a trip to the cinema,

Here are our list of top ten animated - kids movies .Very special top ten edition for kids....

1.Spirited away

This is one of our family's favorite movies. Very clever, imaginative,  and features a somewhat spoiled girl who develops independence and strength in a foreign land. A visual treat and pitch-perfect for our family which appreciates our children's entertainment flavored with less saccharine and more art and thought.

2.Toy story 3

This movie introduces some new characters and they're all very dark characters, especially lotso. These characters are portrayed gambling and laughing at the pain of the "new" toys at Sunny side Day Care and none of the antagonizing characters find redemption. The oppressive new toys force characters like Buzz and Jesse to be in the "toddler Room" because they are seen as having no value. It's not a good message to be sending to children. Scare people and they'll do what you want them to. Also the Scene with the incinerator at the landfill is outright heartbreaking. The toys accept their fate and wait to be killed in each others hand embrace. This scene brought back memories of Schindler's List for me and is far too deep a concept for young children to understand It was a powerful scene but for someone who can understand that

3.Beauty and beast.

This is one of the best Disney movies of all time. The story line is great, as are the messages and role models of the movie. Belle sees through the Beat's looks and looks at the warmth in his heart, and the Beast starts caring for Belle. There's minor scariness, because when little kids see him at first they will be frightened when he is very mean to Belle. Gaston and his "people" come to the castle to kill the Beast, and G. eventually falls off the balcony, after he stabs Beast with a knife. EVERYONE 6+

4.finding nemo.

There's something wonderful about animation. The story of a father seeking his lost son is touching, and wonderful. And there are a ton of great one liners. xD Although there are some scary moments, I think that most kids won't be bothered by it-- this is a very family friendly movie, and like all pixar films, will not disappoint.

5.up

This movie will be one to add to our collection...& we are picky about what movies we buy. It centered around relationships. The annoying little boy & the grumpy old man changed each other because they were forced to be together & encounter danger. You also discover why he's grumpy & how that gets resolved. The talking dogs were a bit scary (for younger kids) but also humorous. I got a kick out of the dogs & how they talked. It was so "right on" funny! This is a movie that I had no problem bringing my preteen kids to. My husband & I both cried during a few sad parts, but for the most part it was a very positive movie.
6.wall-E

Wall-e was the best animated film.  I think that young children would enjoy it, but anyone younger than six might get scared depending on their maturity level. Younger kids might not understand what is going on, but they would probably still enjoy watching it. Adults would probably like it too, because it has an interesting concept. Wall-e had a really good message to it, and I think that it could be true. Wall-e is my favorite animated movie ever!

7.Tangled

It really was a great movie -- funny, interesting, great animation, etc. I usually agree with Common Sense on their age ratings, but I think they're off on this one. All Disney moves have peril and violence, but this one has an actual murder scene, complete with stabbing. Never mind that the stabbing victim eventually survives; we're meant to believe he's been killed. And in case we're not sure, we get a an up close look at the bloody entry point beneath the victim's cloak right afterward. The witch and two thugs are really quite scary, and the witch's horror face during her eventual demise is definitely the stuff of nightmares. I do believe that if this movie had actual people in it as opposed to (the very realistic looking) animated people, it might have been given a PG-13 rating.

8.How to train your dragon.

This was an absolutely amazing movie. What we loved best was the overall message. It is the peace loving, different from everyone else Hiccup who triumphs. Hiccup has a chance to harm Toothless but chooses instead to help him, beginning their friendship. It really sends the message that being mean and violent is not the best choice, and that sometimes situations are not what they seem (the dragons attack the village ). The relationship between Hiccup and his dad was kind of sad but probably typical of many parent/teen

9.Monsters inc.

good movie, but a lot of disney merchandise throughout the film and could scare some kids, so parents or older siblings should watch it with them and give them a place to hide- it can get a bit freaky at times for easily scared kids.

10.Shrek.

you people lose your minds with movie's like this. The violence only Robin Hoods gang and some of Farquad's nights are shown getting hurt. The skeletons I always see them in G rated cartoons. What shrek eats never did my five year old brother any harm.In fact he didn't even notice what he was eating from. The point of the movie was a bout Shrek finding who he was made for I mean when does a movie not have a point? On the other hand great movie love the story!
