Parks and recreation is  an American television sitcom starring Amy Poehler as Leslie Knope, a perky, mid-level bureaucrat in the parks department of Pawnee, a fictional town in Indiana. Created by Greg Daniels and Michael Schur, the series aired on NBC from April 9, 2009 to February 24, 2015 for 125 episodes over seven seasons.

The show had a great casting and a large number of stars.Its time that we realize its over but It really gave us some great laughs and a lot of memorable moments.Here we look at the top ten episodes of this great show.

10. Ann and Chris.


This episode was literally the best goodbye , saying good bye to the two beloved characters ann and chris. Ann (Rashida Jones) and Chris's (Rob Lowe) last night in Pawnee, Leslie (Amy Poehler) throws a grand farewell party and attempts to fulfill one last promise.This episode is one of the best episodes in the 6th season.


9.The Debate.





Amy Poehler directed and wrote this sensational episode.This episode also featured paul rudd who made a comeback to the show.In this episode Chris, Anne and Tom act as Leslie's "spin team" for the media. Meanwhile - Ron, April, Donna and Andy throw a party for Leslie's campaign supporters, but experience a few set backs in the process.

8.Win, Loose or Draw.


The best episode of the 4th season which was a boost for the entire franchise.It's election day for Leslie, and Ben is contemplating an offer to help work on a campaign in Washington. Meanwhile, Andy tries to help April rescue the files she deleted from the Parks Department computers.


7.Fancy Party.



This was a very simple and nice episode.Andy and April's party turns into a surprise wedding, but Leslie does not approve. Meanwhile, Ben debates whether to stay in Pawnee, and Donna gives Ann advice at a singles mixer.

6.Ron and Diane



This  episode was all about re-evaluating relationships amongst the group, Leslie realises Ron has a more important woman in his life now; April, Tom and co. reflect on how they should treat Jerry, and Ben realises that Chris, for all his eccentricities, is in fact becoming a more stable person.


5.Flu season.



This was undoubtfully the best season of the 3rd season.The episode was also a turning point for April and the actress Aubrey Plaza. By tormenting Ann in the hospital, April has gone from passiveness to an active proponent of Ann's inevitable breakdown.

4.Moving up.


The finale of season 6 was in turn one of the better episodes.Filled with guest stars and a big concert, "Moving Up" felt more like a series finale than a season finale. Leslie debates whether to take the job with the National Parks Service during a convention in San Francisco while Ben tries to get free wifi for Pawnee. Meanwhile in Pawnee, Tom decides to open his bistro early.


3.Leslie and ben


Leslie and Ben decide to get married right after the gala, but a jealous and drunk councilman Jamm crashes the party and ruins the evening.

2.Leslie and ron

The gang locks Leslie and Ron in the old Parks Department office overnight and force them to settle their differences and end their feud.

1.One last ride.



The show really ended with a bang.With all the best possible outcomes for the characters even though some might disagree with it.  it provided beautiful, rapturous closure. An remarkably irresistible swirl of love and satire. The writer provided us witha glimpse of future to give it a perfect ending.
